2 Day Weaving Workshop: Beginner/Intermediate

$125.00

Join Cindy Broughton, Tularosa weaver for a weekend of weaving and community—come sit around the table with us!

May 16: 11-4p

May 17: 12-4p

Cindy has been weaving for 15 years—she seeks out classes to learn new techniques and travels around the world to discover textiles and the the art of weaving from different cultures. As weaving was once a necessity, Cindy wants to preserve the craft by teaching it and passing down hand-woven heirlooms like the baby blanket she recently gifted to her first great granddaughter.

-$125 for 2 days includes: class instruction, loom, all the materials you will need to make small tapestry, additional yard,  post class meet-ups if needed and light refreshments.

Friendly Loom LapLooms are portable, hardwood tapestry looms that can be comfortably used on a table, the floor, or—of course—your lap! A simple and practical way to learn the art of weaving, they offer an accessible introduction to the craft while allowing you to create beautiful, handmade designs anywhere you go.

Kit Includes:

  • Laploom B - 14.5"x 18.5" wooden loom-finished project approximately 12"x17"
