Bookbinding workshop with visiting artist Kendall Davis

Join us for a hands-on bookbinding workshop where you'll learn the fundamentals of creating your own handmade journal or sketchbook. This 3-hour class is designed for beginners and creative makers alike, with step-by-step instruction covering bookbinding techniques, assembly, and finishing details. (Optional: bring an old fabric you like to use in the process, but not necessary.)

Meet the artist: 

Kendall Davis, is a multidisciplinary artist from Dallas, Texas, whose work spans painting, drawing, photography, and ceramics. She holds an undergraduate degree in painting, drawing, and photography, as well as a master’s degree in painting and drawing, and has taught photography at the collegiate level. For more than 20 years, she has explored ceramics, embracing each medium as an opportunity to learn new processes and expand her creative practice.

Location: Desert Spoon, 222 Granado Street

Instructor: Kendall Davis, Dallas, TX

Min age, 13 w an adult. 

All materials and light refreshments provided. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. 

We can’t do refunds but we can give you a store credit that can be applied to another class or anything you discover in the shop.
