Clay Pinch Pot Workshop with visiting artist Kendall Davis.

Aug 1 | 11a-1p

Pinch pots are one of the oldest methods of creating a vessel from clay. Using only your fingers and thumb, you'll shape and form clay through the simple art of pinching—no pottery wheel or special tools required.

Join us for this fun, hands-on 2-hour workshop.  All materials are provided, and local potter Julie Newburg will fire your pieces after the workshop. When your pieces are ready for pick up, you will be notified by Desert Spoon.

Interested in adding your own finishing touches? Be sure to sign up for Julie's glazing workshop on August 15 to learn how to glaze your pottery yourself.

No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and enjoy an afternoon of working with clay!
