Step into the whimsey of watercolors to create beautiful handmade greeting cards— or a full sized desert landscape painting, in community as we feed our creativity together. 

Join artist Karen Smith of La Luz, New Mexico for an afternoon exploring watercolor techniques and materials. Karen has been painting since she was eleven and has been teaching oil, acrylic, watercolor since the late 80’s—“my heart flows art”. 

In this hands-on workshop, Karen will share her passion for the craft and guide participants throughout the workshop. You will leave w at least two beautiful cards ready to drop in the mail—or a full sized painting, no experience necessary! 

Your ticket includes light refreshments curated by Desert Spoon and Tumbleweed Lounge.
